Militants launched 28 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

In Mariupol direction, militants used 122mm artillery to launch attacks on Ukrainian troops near Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk) and Talakivka (20km north-west of Mariupol). In addition, Ukrainian positions came under mortar and grenade launchers fire near Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol) and Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol).

The tensest situation was still observed in Donetsk direction, where illegal armed formations used mortars and grenade launchers to shell Ukrainian positions in the industrial area of Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk). One Ukrainian soldier was wounded as a result of this shelling. In addition, militants also shelled Ukrainian positions near Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk) and Troitske (69km west of Luhansk).

In Luhansk direction, ATO troops came under mortar and grenade launchers fire in Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk) and Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk). Two Ukrainian defenders were injured as a result of the shelling.
