President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said this while delivering the speech at the Royal Institute of International Affairs Chatham House in London, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"It [Russia] keeps sending at this very moment the Russian troops, Russian tanks and artillery, Russian multiple rocket launchers, Russian munitions across the uncontrolled sections of the Ukrainian-Russian border. Russia turns Crimea into the largest military base in the world," the President said.
Poroshenko stressed that Russia "stays deaf to demands and arguments for peace."
Russia is guilty of the failure to establish the effective truce in eastern Ukraine and release hostages and illegally detained Ukrainians either in the temporarily uncontrolled territories or in Russia, the President added.
