Financial rewards totaling UAH 153.3 million paid to ATO soldiers – Defense Ministry

Since the start of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in eastern Ukraine, money rewards worth UAH 153.3 million have been paid to servicepersons of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Defense Ministry’s Spokesperson Colonel Dmytro Hutsuliak stated this at a press briefing on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“As of today, Ukrainian servicepersons have received payments worth UAH 153 million 300 thousand. In particular, UAH 144.716 million - for the direct participation in military operations,” he said.
