Viktor Muzhenko: Enlisted soldiers total only 10% of Ukrainian military personnel

Enlisted soldiers total only 10% of the whole military personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Chief of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry Viktor Muzhenko has posted on Facebook.
“As to the staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the number of enlisted servicepersons totals only 10%. The general number of reservists from territorial and operating reserve, who have completed trainings in 2016, totals about 30,000 persons,” Muzhenko said.
He also noted that this year 59,000 persons signed contracts for military service in the Armed Force.
“In 2014-2016 we concluded contracts with 85,000 servicemen. And 59,000 [servicemen] have signed contracts this year, of whom 6,000 are officers,” Muzhenko said.
