In Kremenchuk, man opens fire at Territorial Center for Recruitment, injuring two soldiers
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Poltava Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support on Facebook.
According to the report, on October 30, at around 4 p.m., the police escorted a citizen subject to military service to the assembly point of the Kremenchuk District Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support. While filling out documents and undergoing a mandatory inspection, in response to a police officer's question about the presence of prohibited items or substances, the man took out a handgun — previously converted from a traumatic TT — and fired several shots.
As a result of the shooting, two soldiers were wounded in the lower leg. They were hospitalized, but their lives are not in danger.
The shooter was detained by the police, and the investigation is ongoing.
As reported by Ukrinform, in the Poltava region, a group consisting of a military serviceman and a police officer stopped a cyclist to check his military registration documents, but residents surrounded the officers and prevented them from doing so.
