One killed, another injured in Kryvyi Rih shooting – police

The Dnipropetrovsk region police announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

Police said they received a report about the crime at around 20:00 on September 26.

"According to preliminary information, an unknown individual opened fire at a local resident. The man died on the spot from his injuries. Another person was wounded," law enforcement said.

An investigative team, forensic experts, and senior officers of the Dnipropetrovsk region police and Kryvyi Rih police department are working at the scene in the Pokrovskyi district.

Initial investigative steps are being taken to identify the suspect. Authorities are also determining the legal classification of the crime and will enter the case details into the unified register of pre-trial investigations.
