Zelensky discusses combating fraud, ‘thieves-in-law’ with minister Klymenko
According to Ukrinform, the President shared the information on Facebook.
"Report from Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko. First – the actions of National Guard units on the front lines, particularly the use of drones in frontline combat. Second – countering criminal groups linked to Russian mafia networks and so-called ‘thieves-in-law’," Zelensky stated.

A separate report addressed what the President called “a scandalous and extremely troubling situation” involving fundraising on behalf of Ukrainian citizen Nazarii Husakov and possible cases of fraud.
Zelensky stressed that all publicly available information is currently being verified. According to preliminary data, at least four financial institutions and many digital services were used. Authorities are identifying those who may have been harmed by the alleged illegal activities. Husakov left Ukraine on June 13, and his current whereabouts and other key details are being established.
"It is critically important to restore justice and prevent any discrediting of fundraising and volunteerism as such. There must be a legal response to specific cases of fraud," Zelensky emphasized.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, in Lviv, the head of a charity fund was charged with defrauding servicemen and a volunteer of nearly 1.3 million UAH.
