Over 60 facilities damaged in Kyiv region due to Russian attack; one person killed, eight injured
As reported by Ukrinform, this was announced on Telegram by the head of the regional military administration, Mykola Kalashnyk.
According to him, a man born in 1974 was killed in Vyshneve. Eight other people were injured, including a 14-year-old child. Four of the injured are currently hospitalized in medical facilities in the Fastiv and Obukhiv districts.
In the Fastiv district, a veterinary clinic was damaged, and domestic animals were killed. In addition, four private houses and a car were damaged.
The head of the regional administration also emphasized a cynical strike on the territory of the National Military Memorial Cemetery. An administrative building and elements of infrastructure were damaged. The burial sites of fallen heroes remained intact.
In the Brovary district, a private house and outbuildings sustained minor damage.
In the Obukhiv district, 40 facilities were damaged: five enterprises, 29 vehicles, and one multi-storey residential building, where an apartment on the fifth floor was destroyed. Three private houses were also damaged.
In the Bucha district, a kindergarten and a lyceum, four multi-storey buildings, four vehicles, a shop, and a service station building were damaged.
In total, more than 60 facilities were damaged across the region.
The regional administration is already working to help people return to normal life as quickly as possible. Funds will be allocated from the regional budget to restore damaged multi-storey buildings so that residents can return to their homes as soon as possible.
