Russian attack damages gas pipeline in Sumy region

A gas pipeline has been damaged in Velyka Pysarivka, Sumy region, as a result of a Russian attack.

The Sumy branch of “Gazmerezhi” reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“Another attack on the gas distribution infrastructure in Sumy region,” the message reads.

A gas pipeline in Velyka Pysarivka has been damaged. Some consumers are without gas.

Specialists are working to repair the damage caused by the Russian attack.

As reported by Ukrinform, on March 28, Russian troops attacked Naftogaz Group production facilities in Sumy region with drones.

Also on March 28, the Russians attacked Naftogaz facilities in Poltava region. A company employee was killed.

Prior to that, on the afternoon of March 26 and the night of March 27, Russian troops struck a gas production facility in the Poltava region—the equipment sustained significant damage, and the facility ceased operations.
