Russian drone strike destroys police station in Shostka
This was reported to journalists by Ukraine’s Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko, according to Ukrinform.
“This morning a UAV strike hit the district police department in Shostka. The building was destroyed, more than 22 employees were injured,” the Interior Minister said.
He also drew attention to the constant shelling of Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
“It is less than 10 kilometers from the drone launch point. There is information that Russians are also training to launch drones there at a combat training ground. They target civilians with UAVs and with artillery,” Klymenko said.
The minister also reported Russian strikes on Semenivka.
“This is in the Chernihiv region, the northernmost district center of Ukraine. The Russians are destroying everything within a 20-kilometer zone. Border settlements are almost completely destroyed. All administrative buildings have been hit so that government authorities cannot operate normally,” he noted.
Klymenko also said that over the past weekend, during repeated Russian strikes and efforts to deal with the consequences of the shelling, seven vehicles of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were lost.
Earlier it was reported that in the morning of March 10 in Nikopol, Russian forces attacked the building of the district police department and a police car with drones, injuring five police officers and a civilian employee.
