Zelensky meets with Prime Minister of North Macedonia to discuss opportunities for defense cooperation

“I met with Prime Minister of North Macedonia Hristijan Mickoski. Frontline situation, Russian strikes on Ukraine, opportunities for defense cooperation, and diplomacy were the key topics of our conversation with the Prime Minister,” he wrote.
Zelensky expressed gratitude to North Macedonia for its support of Ukraine and its contribution to the PURL program.
“We value your readiness to continue helping our country,” the president added.
The Office of the President added that Zelensky provided information about the negotiation process and stressed that the only obstacle to ending the war is Russia, which started the war itself.
Mickoski, for his part, expressed support for Ukraine and assured that North Macedonia would continue to provide assistance.
As reported by Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed military support for Ukraine and the development of the PURL and SAFE programs during a meeting with Czech President Petr Pavel.
