Downed Russian Kinzhal missile found in Lviv region

A Russian Kinzhal missile that was shot down during a recent attack on Lviv has been found in the Lviv region.

The Department of Civil Protection at the Lviv Regional Military Administration announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"In the village of Razhniv, Zabolottsi community, Zolochiv district, a Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missile was recovered. It was shot down during a Russian air-and-missile strike on February 11," the statement said.

Earlier reports said that Russian air-launched Kinzhal ballistic missiles, fired from MiG-31K aircraft toward Lviv, had failed to reach their targets.
