Russia launches another strike on Ukraine’s railway infrastructure
This was reported on Telegram by Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine – Minister for Communities and Territories Development Oleksii Kuleba, according to Ukrinform.
“Earlier this morning, the enemy struck a railway station in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Locomotives, railcars, and infrastructure were damaged. A fire broke out but was promptly extinguished,” the statement said.
In addition, according to Kuleba, another strike hit a railway depot in Konotop in the morning, damaging technical rolling stock. The enemy continues to attack this railway hub in the Sumy region.
No railway workers were injured. Emergency and repair crews are currently working at the site.
As reported earlier, Ukrzaliznytsia, taking the security situation into account, is introducing targeted changes to train services in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions on February 11.
