Drone operators destroy car carrying Russians trying to break through to Myrnohrad center
This was reported on Facebook by the 79th Separate Air Assault Tavria Brigade of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.
Russian invaders continue to attempt to concentrate their forces in the central part of Myrnohrad, where small-arms fighting continues. In addition to small infantry groups, the enemy is trying to use light vehicles to quickly break through into the city.
Trying to take advantage of unfavorable weather conditions, five Russian soldiers attempted to drive into the city center at high speed. Despite the bad weather, Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance detected enemy movements and transmitted the coordinates to operators of combat FPV drones.
As a result of a successful operation, one invader was eliminated, and four were wounded. The transport was destroyed.
Soldiers of the 79th Separate Air Assault Tavria Brigade continue to conduct search-and-strike operations in Myrnohrad and its surroundings, where the operational situation remains difficult.
As reported by Ukrinform, the enemy is increasing pressure on the northern part of Myrnohrad. Gun battles continue in the city center.
For a further assault on the “upper” part of Myrnohrad, the Russians continue to accumulate heavy equipment in the Novohrodivka area.
In cooperation with the 1st Azov Corps of the National Guard, paratroopers are blocking the Russians along the line “eastern outskirts of Myrnohrad, Krasnyi Lyman, and Rodynske.”
