In the Sloviansk sector, the Russian army is increasing pressure around the village of Dronivka. Ukrainian defenders are fighting to protect the settlement, inflicting losses on the enemy in terms of manpower and equipment.

This was reported on Facebook by the 81st Separate Slobozhanska Airmobile Brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

According to the brigade, the situation around Dronivka is becoming more complicated. To storm and establish control over this settlement, as well as over Platonivka and Zakitne, Russian troops are daily accumulating resources in the Serebrianskyi Forest and Siversk.

Units of the 81st Separate Slobozhanska Airmobile Brigade are working around the clock to detect invaders and their equipment and strike them. In particular, anti-aircraft crews are destroying Russian reconnaissance and combat drones that are constantly attacking Ukrainian positions. This week, defenders used drones to detect and destroy a 2S3 Akatsiya self-propelled artillery unit that Russian troops had attempted to conceal in the Serebrianskyi Forest.

The enemy's primary objective in this section of the front remains to establish control over the coastal areas of the Siverskyi Donets River and to consolidate their positions on the dominant heights. If successful, the invaders will be able to use their weapons to strike the rear of the Defense Forces.

The tactics of Russian troops remain unchanged: small groups of two people try to infiltrate the inter-positional space of the 81st Separate Slobozhanska Airmobile Brigade. To remain inconspicuous, the invaders use anti-thermal vision cloaks at night and camouflage robes and weather conditions during the day.

As reported by Ukrinform, 105 combat clashes occurred on the front line over the past day.
