Nearly 50 clashes reported along frontline since dawn

As reported by Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released this operational update as of 16:00 on Tuesday, January 27, via Facebook.

From Russian territory, the enemy carried out artillery shelling of the settlement of Liskivshchyna in the Chernihiv region, as well as Bilia Bereza, Kucherivka, Rohizne, Volfyne, Budky, Bezsalivka, Ryzhivka, Iskryskivshchyna, Seredyna-Buda, Tovstodubove, and Stukalivka in the Sumy region. Volfyne in the Sumy region was also hit by an airstrike.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the enemy carried out 40 shelling attacks.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian forces attacked twice in the areas of Prylipky and Vovchanski Khutory.

In the Kupiansk sector, one combat engagement took place, with the enemy attempting to advance toward Kupiansk.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian troops repelled one enemy attack near Drobysheve.

In the Sloviansk sector, one combat engagement occurred in the direction of Platonivka.

No combat engagements were recorded in the Kramatorsk sector.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian invaders carried out eight offensive actions near Pleshchiivka, Kleban-Byk, Shcherbynivka, Sofiivka, and in the direction of Stepanivka and Novopavlivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian forces attempted to advance 23 times near Rodynske, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, and toward Filiia, Bilytske, and Hryshyne. One combat engagement is ongoing.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the aggressor attacked twice near Verbove and Zlahoda.

In the Huliaipole sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven enemy attacks near Solodke, Huliaipole, Dorozhnianka, and toward Dobropillia and Zelene. Two attacks are ongoing. In addition, enemy aircraft struck Zaliznychne and Verkhnia Tersa.

In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy attacked near Plavni. Airstrikes hit Odarivka, Zhovta Krucha, and Tavriiske.

In the Prydniprovske sector, the enemy carried out one unsuccessful offensive action near the Antonivskyi Bridge.

No significant changes were recorded in other sectors of the front.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, small-arms fighting continues in the center of Myrnohrad against Russian forces.
