Russians injure two civilians in Donetsk region in 24 hours

Two people were wounded as a result of enemy strikes in the Donetsk region over the past day.

This was reported on Telegram by the Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, according to Ukrinform.

“Russia is killing civilians! On January 24, Russians wounded two residents of the Donetsk region,” Filashkin wrote.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the occupiers have killed 3,986 civilians and wounded 8,816. The total victim toll in the Donetsk region omits Mariupol and Volnovakha.

Filashkin later added that over the past day, 18 residential buildings, including two high-rise buildings, were damaged as a result of shelling in the Donetsk region.

"In Zolotyi Kolodiaz, part of the Shakhove community in the Pokrovsk district, eight houses were damaged. In Zapovidne, five houses were affected, while one house was damaged in both Toretsk and Kucheriv Yar. In Mykolaivka, a high-rise building was damaged. In Sloviansk, two people were wounded, a high-rise building and two cars were damaged. A private house was destroyed in Druzhkivka," the report said.

A house was damaged in Riznykivka, Siversk community, Bakhmut district.

In total, the Russians shelled settlements in the Donetsk region nine times in 24 hours. Eighty-four people, including 25 children, were evacuated from the front line.

The police, in turn, specified that two children were injured in Sloviansk.

“The Russians attacked Sloviansk with three FPV drones, injuring two children born in 2009 and 2010. An apartment building and two civilian cars were damaged,” the report said.

On January 24, the police documented 1,646 enemy strikes along the front line and in the residential sector of the region. Three settlements were under fire: Kramatorsk, Mykolaivka, and Sloviansk. Eleven civilian objects were destroyed, including nine residential buildings.
