One dead as drunk Russian soldiers open fire over captured thermal imager in Donetsk – Atesh
The partisan movement Atesh announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
According to the report, Atesh agents from Russia's 33rd Motor Rifle Regiment informed of a non-combat casualty in Donetsk's Kirovskyi district.
"Three Russian servicemen were drinking alcohol in a local establishment and dividing up 'trophies' taken from positions. The subject of the dispute was an ordinary thermal imager they planned to sell. They failed to reach an agreement, and one of the participants pulled out a pistol. The confrontation continued outside the bar, where the shooting began. One of the soldiers was killed on the spot," the statement said.
The Russian command is trying to restrict access to this information so that the news does not go beyond the military unit.
