Defense Forces control northern part of Myrnohrad – military

Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine in the area of responsibility of the Task Force "East" are holding back the enemy's advance and, since the beginning of the day, have repelled 38 Russian assaults.

Active operations by Ukrainian units are ongoing in the Pokrovsk–Myrnohrad agglomeration area.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian invaders made 26 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions near the settlements of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Filiia, and toward Serhiivka and Novopidhorodne. Two clashes are still ongoing.

The Defense Forces continue to control the northern part of Pokrovsk. All movements of Russian troops are detected in a timely manner and subjected to fire.

"In Myrnohrad, Ukrainian units control the northern part of the city. The Defense Forces continue search and strike operations to prevent further enemy advances," the statement said.

The Defense Forces are working to promptly detect and destroy combat equipment that the Russians are trying to accumulate for an assault on Myrnohrad.

Ukrainian units are being supplied with the necessary means to maintain combat capability in low-temperature conditions.

Logistical support remains difficult. Heavy drones and ground robotic systems are being used for resupply.

As Ukrinform reported, fighters of the 155th Separate Mechanized Brigade captured three Russian assault troops in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region.
