Over the past week, Russian troops have slightly reduced the number of assaults in the south, but have significantly increased the use of aviation and FPV drones, suffering significant losses in manpower and equipment.

This was reported by Vladyslav Voloshyn, spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces, in a comment to Ukrinform.

“Over the past week, the enemy carried out a total of 270 assault operations, which is 10% less than the week before... That is, 270 assaults in seven days is still a lot,” Voloshyn said.

He added that at the same time, the enemy intensified the use of aviation and drones.

“The number of guided aerial bombs used has increased by 13%, and the enemy has begun to use FPV drones more, by 21%,” the spokesman said.

According to Voloshyn, this was accompanied by an increase in Russian military losses.

“The number of enemy losses has increased by 13%, and over the past week, the enemy has lost almost 2,000 - 1,967 personnel in the southern directions,” he said.

The spokesman assured that the Defense Forces are destroying Russian armored vehicles on a daily basis in the Huliaypole and Orikhiv directions. He added that one or two tanks and three to five armored combat vehicles are destroyed every day.

At the same time, Voloshyn reported that the Ukrainian military had destroyed multiple launch rocket systems and Strela air defense systems, including several such systems last week.

According to the spokesman, the enemy's losses in weapons and equipment are significant.
