Homes, infrastructure damaged in overnight Russian attack on Odesa, one person injured

In Odesa, residential buildings and infrastructure facilities were damaged as a result of an overnight Russian attack.

Serhii Lysak, head of the Odesa City Military Administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, "as a result of the overnight enemy attack, residential buildings and infrastructure facilities in the city were damaged."

The blast wave shattered windows in commercial premises and a car dealership. Initially, no casualties were reported.

All necessary services are working to eliminate the consequences of the attack, Lysak added.

Meanwhile, Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, said that Russian forces once again attacked the Odesa region overnight with strike drones. Residential, energy, and gas infrastructure facilities were damaged. One person was injured.

In the Odesa district, a drone struck a multi-story residential building, damaging two apartments, the building's facade and glazing, as well as private vehicles parked nearby.

In addition, damage was recorded at a critical infrastructure facility.

All relevant services are working at the sites, and efforts to deal with the aftermath of the attack are ongoing.

On January 13, residential buildings, a hospital, a kindergarten, and a school in central Odesa were damaged during two waves of Russian attacks.
