Russian army carries out more than 40 strikes on Sumy region, killing one person and injuring 11 others

A 35-year-old man was killed in the Bilopillia community by guided aerial bombs.
In addition, men aged 34, 46, and 48 and women aged 26, 36, 40, 40, 47, 53, 55, and 62 were injured.
Most of the attacks were recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts.
Russian troops used artillery, mortars, FPV drones, UAVs, and guided aerial bombs.
In the Sumy community, a store, a private home, and a car were damaged.
In the Mykolaivka community, a store and a medical facility were damaged.
In the Bilopillia community, an educational institution, a catering establishment, administrative premises, high-rise buildings, private residential buildings, cars, and civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.
In the Seredyna-Buda community, private residential buildings and non-residential structures were destroyed, and civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.
In the Khutir-Mykhailivskyi community, a private home and a car were damaged.
In the Shostka community, residential buildings were destroyed, and a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged.
In the Shalyhyne community, a private residential building was destroyed.
A private residential building was destroyed in the Esman community.
Civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged in the Znob-Novhorod community.
Over the course of a day, local authorities, together with units of the State Emergency Service, the National Police, and public organizations, evacuated 12 people from border communities.
