SOF show damage to Lukoil drilling rigs in Caspian Sea

According to Ukrinform, the video was posted on Facebook by the Special Operations Forces command.

On the night of January 11, 2026, deep strike units of the Special Operations Forces destroyed Lukoil drilling rigs in the Caspian Sea.

“Among the targets hit were the ice-resistant stationary platforms named after V. Filanovsky, Yuri Korchagin, and Valery Graifer. These platforms are used to supply fuel to the enemy army,” the SOF said.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck three Lukoil drilling rigs in the Caspian Sea, a Russian Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile system in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region, and a Russian army warehouse in Kherson region.
