Defense forces hit three Lukoil drilling rigs in Caspian Sea

The Ukrainian Armed Forces struck three Lukoil drilling rigs in the Caspian Sea, a Russian Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile system in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk Oblast, and a Russian army warehouse in Kherson Oblast.

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook

"As part of measures to reduce the aggressor's military and economic potential, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck three Lukoil drilling rigs in the Caspian Sea, namely the V. Filanovsky, Yuri Korchagin, and Valeri Graifer rigs. These facilities are used to support the Russian occupation army," the General Staff said.

It is noted that the hits have been confirmed. The extent of the damage is currently being assessed.

A Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile system launcher was also destroyed in the vicinity of the village of Baranycheve in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region. According to the General Staff, this medium-range air defense system is designed to combat aerodynamic targets.

According to preliminary data, hits and explosions were recorded.

In addition, “in order to reduce the enemy's logistical and combat capabilities, a fire strike was carried out on a warehouse of the material and technical unit of the 49th Army of the occupiers in the area of the village of Novotroitsk (TOT Kherson region).”

The General Staff emphasized that the Defense Forces continue to systematically weaken the military-economic capabilities and offensive potential of Russian troops.

Targets directly involved in the armed aggression against Ukraine are being hit.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Defense Forces struck an oil depot in the Volgograd region of the Russian Federation and a number of enemy targets in the temporarily occupied part of Ukraine.
