In Myrnohrad, the Donetsk region, Ukrainian units are holding defensive lines in the north and containing the enemy in the central part of the town, while preventing Russian invaders from bringing in equipment from the southern direction.

As reported by Ukrinform, this was stated on Facebook by the Operational Command East.

Active operations by Ukrainian units are ongoing in the Pokrovsk–Myrnohrad agglomeration area.

On the eastern outskirts of Myrnohrad, the enemy is attempting to entrench itself; however, Ukraine’s Defense Forces are maintaining control of the situation. Logistics are complicated but are being maintained at the necessary level.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to control the northern part of Pokrovsk. All enemy movements are detected in a timely manner, and fire strikes are being delivered against the invaders.

Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine in the area of responsibility of the Operational Command East are holding back enemy pressure and have repelled 79 Russian assaults since the start of the day.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian invaders made 52 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions near Shakhove, Nykanorivka, Fedorivka, Dorozhne, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Molodetske, and toward Novopavlivka and Filiia.

Ukraine’s Defense Forces continue to hold back the offensive and have already repelled 44 enemy attacks; six clashes are still ongoing.

As reported by Ukrinform, since the beginning of 2026 the enemy has been increasing pressure in the Pokrovsk agglomeration. Unable to break through Ukrainian defenses with frontal assaults in the area of responsibility of the 7th Corps, Russian forces are attempting to operate via flanking routes, in particular trying to bypass the agglomeration through Hryshyne and Rodynske.
