Ukrainian paratroopers repel massive Russian assault near Pokrovsk

Fighters of the 46th Separate Airmobile Brigade have thwarted a massive assault by Russian forces in the Pokrovsk sector.
According to Ukrinform, the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
The enemy used armored vehicles during the assault.
In the course of the fighting, Ukrainian paratroopers eliminated 59 Russian invaders and wounded six others. They also destroyed two tanks, the same number of armored combat vehicles, and three enemy vehicles known as Bukhankas.
As reported by Ukrinform, as of 16:00 on Wednesday, January 7, Russian invaders had carried out more than fifty attempts to push Ukraine’s Defense Forces from their positions in the Pokrovsk sector.
