Russians damage almost 30 objects in attack on Kyiv region, mainly in Fastiv district
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by Mykola Kalashnyk, the Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
“In total, nearly three dozen objects have been damaged in the region, including residential buildings, transport, industrial premises, and energy facilities. All services are working in an enhanced mode. The police, the State Emergency Service, energy and utility workers are on site, providing assistance to people,” Kalashnyk wrote.
In particular, an apartment building in Slavutych, Vyshhorod district, was damaged. Residents were quickly evacuated and temporarily housed in a warming center at the city hospital. There were no casualties. According to Kalashnyk, the attack left the city without a centralized power supply, resulting in nearly 8,500 households being without electricity. Energy workers immediately began restoration work. Critical infrastructure was switched to backup power, and heat and water are being supplied. Social institutions are operating on generators.
The Fastiv district suffered the most damage. Fourteen private houses and one apartment building, six garages, industrial and storage facilities, and four cars were damaged. A resident was killed in the village of Kozhukhivka as a result of the attack.
In the Obukhiv district, the blast wave damaged the windows of a private house. In the Brovary district, a residential building and a car were damaged. Kalashnyk added that there were no casualties in these areas.
As reported by Ukrinform, Russian troops launched another massive attack on the Kyiv region last night, targeting critical infrastructure facilities in particular.
