Russians strike Zaporizhzhia with glide bombs, injuring two people
This was reported by an Ukrinform correspondent.
Earlier, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned about launches of glide bombs (KABs) toward the Zaporizhzhia region. A few minutes later, KABs were detected heading for Zaporizhzhia.
An air raid alert was declared in Zaporizhzhia and the region.
According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Regional Military Administration, the Russians struck one of the city's districts.
"Preliminarily, a residential building was damaged," he wrote.
Shortly afterward, he added: "At least three enemy strikes were carried out against the regional center." As a result of the attack, garages and vehicles caught fire.
Some time later, Fedorov reported that two people were injured as a result of the Russian attack. The injured man and woman are receiving all necessary assistance.
As Ukrinform previously reported, since the start of the full-scale invasion in Zaporizhzhia, more than 1,300 apartment buildings and 2,600 private houses have been damaged or destroyed as a result of Russian attacks.
