Units of the Khartia Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine have liberated Kindrashivka, Radkivka, and several blocks in northern Kupiansk, which has enabled them to cut off Russian supply routes and markedly stabilize the situation in the Kupiansk sector.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Command of the Khartia Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine announced this on its Facebook page.

According to the statement, units of the Khartia Brigade successfully liberated Kindrashivka, Radkivka, and several blocks in northern Kupiansk, severing the enemy’s access to key supply routes and strengthening territorial control. These actions became a critical stage in stabilizing the situation in the Kupiansk sector.

The stabilization operation in this area was launched by the Khartia search-and-strike grouping, which was formed under a decision of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, following the escalation in the region in September of this year.

“Our units broke through to the Oskil River and cut off the enemy’s supply routes to Kupiansk,” the statement reads.

The service members reported that from September 22 to December 12, Ukrainian forces killed 1,027 Russian soldiers, wounded 291, and captured 13. Meanwhile, the enemy’s attempts to break through the city’s defenses were repelled, and Kupiansk is currently under the fire control of the Defense Forces.

“Kupiansk is under the fire control of the Defense Forces, and all enemy attempts to break through the defenses are failing,” the Ukrainian National Guard stated.

Fighting south of the city continues, but the situation in the Kupiansk sector remains stable, with gradual advances by Ukrainian troops.
