War update: 108 frontline clashes, most fights in Pokrovsk sector

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this in the update on Facebook, as of 16:00 on December 11.

Civilian areas suffered from Russian artillery shelling, including the settlements of Mykolaivka, Hirsk, Kovpynka, Yasna Polyana, Zaliznyi Mist in the Chernihiv region; Shalyhyne, Ryzhivka, Sydorivka, Bila Bereza, Bobylivka, Zarutske, Budky in the Sumy region. Airstrikes hit the settlements of Spirne, Chervona Hirka, and Reutyntsi in the Sumy region.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, five combat engagements took place. The enemy carried out 69 attacks, including four using multiple-launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the enemy launched five attacks near the settlement of Prylipka and toward Izbytske and Okhrimivka. Two enemy attacks are still ongoing.

In the Kupiansk sector, no combat engagements have been recorded so far.

In the Lyman sector, nine engagements took place today. The enemy attacked near Novoyehorivka, Hrekivka, Derylove, Kolodiazi, and Zarichne, with fighting ongoing in seven locations.

In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy carried out three attacks today in the areas of Dronivka and Pereizne.

In the Kramatorsk sector, no engagements have been recorded so far.

The Defense Forces stopped 16 enemy attacks in the Kostiantynivka sector. The invaders attempted to advance near Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Ivanopillia, Kostiantynivka, Yablunivka, Rusyn Yar, and toward Sofiivka.

In addition, in the Pokrovsk sector, Russian forces attempted 33 times to advance on Ukrainian positions in the areas of Shakhove, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, and toward Novopavlivka. Ukrainian defenders have already repelled 31 attacks, with fighting ongoing.

In the Oleksandrohrad sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 18 enemy attacks near Zelenyi Hai, Sosnivka, Verbove, Pryvillia, Vyshneve, Rybne, and Pryvilne. One more battle is ongoing.

In the Huliaipole sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled five enemy assault actions near Huliaipole and toward Dobropillia, with two more engagements currently ongoing.

In the Orikhiv sector, the Defense Forces repelled 16 enemy attacks near Mala Tokmachka, Stepove, Stepnohirsk, and toward Prymorske and Novoandriivka.

In the Prydniprovske sector, no enemy offensive actions have been recorded since the beginning of the day.

In the remaining directions, no significant changes have occurred.

As Ukrinform reported, 234 combat engagements between the Defense Forces of Ukraine and Russian invaders were recorded on the front line over the past day.
