Another group of children aged 4 to 16 has been returned from the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson region to the territory controlled by Ukraine. In total, 270 children have been returned from the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) of Kherson region this year.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

“Another group of children has been returned from the temporarily occupied part of Kherson region to the territory controlled by Ukraine,” the message says.

As noted, the children are aged 4 to 16. An adult who has the status of a child deprived of parental care was also evacuated with them.

Among those rescued were a 12-year-old boy and his family, who lived in constant fear due to regular searches, interrogations, and threats from the occupiers. The most frightening were Russian drone attacks on the civilian population, during one of which a local boy was killed.

It is noted that the children endured threats, pressure, and attempts at “re-education,” but today they are safe on free Ukrainian soil. They are receiving the necessary psychological, medical, and social support.

The return took place as part of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's Bring Kids Back UA initiative and thanks to the persistent work of Save Ukraine.
