Air defense forces destroy 84 of 110 Russian drones used to attack Ukraine since evening
According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.

Starting at 6 p.m. on Monday, December 8, the Russians attacked with 110 Shahed and Herbera strike UAVs and other types of drones from the following directions: Bryansk, Orel, Kursk, Prymorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo (Russian Federation), temporarily occupied Donetsk, and Hvardiyske (temporarily occupied Crimea), with about 70 of them being Shahed drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 9, air defenses shot down/suppressed 84 drones in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
Twenty-four strike UAVs were recorded hitting nine locations.
The attack continues, with several enemy UAVs in the airspace.
As reported by Ukrinform, part of Sumy and the Sumy region were left without power as a result of a massive Russian strike on energy infrastructure.
