The attack was confirmed by the governor of the Volgograd region, Andrey Bocharov.
He reported a fire in a tank containing oil products in the Svitloyarsky district, where the main pumping station "Tinguta" is located. The fire is visible from up to 25 km away. The channel's monitoring group, based on satellite images, is recording signs of a fire at the facility.

The "Volgograd–Tikhoretsk" oil product pipeline is one of the key arteries used to transport diesel to southern Russia and from there for export.
As Ukrinform previously reported, in temporarily occupied Feodosia, a fire at an oil depot struck by Ukrainian drones on the night of April 8 has been ongoing for a third day.
