More than 20 Russian strikes recorded in Sumy region, one casualty

More than 20 Russian shellings were recorded in the Sumy region in 24 hours, with an 86-year-old woman injured.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, on Telegram.

“Sumy region. The consequences of Russian attacks over the past 24 hours: more than 20 shellings of 15 settlements in 9 communities of the region. An 86-year-old woman in the Sumy community was injured; she suffered an acute stress reaction after a UAV attack,” Hryhorov wrote.

According to his information, enemy shelling was reported in the Sumy, Bilopillia, Khotin, Yunakivka, Krasnopillia, Hlukhiv, Esman, Shalyhyne, and Seredyna Buda communities.

In the Sumy community, at least 15 private homes, infrastructure facilities, non-residential buildings, and cars were damaged. In Seredyna Buda and Hlukhiv, private residential buildings were damaged.

It is noted that the air raid alert in the Sumy region lasted more than 18 hours.
