Geran UAVs, FPV drones, and artillery: Russian troops shell Chernihiv region 38 times in 24 hours
According to Ukrinform, the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Viacheslav Chaus, reported this on Telegram.
“Over the past day alone, there were 38 attacks and 68 explosions. The air raid alert continues. The threat remains for the entire region,” he wrote.
Chaus noted that since yesterday, the Snovsk district has been under attack by the Russians. Due to strikes by Geran drones, a residential building caught fire in one of the villages of the community, and a 26-year-old owner was wounded. In the same village, a farm building and equipment—a tractor and a truck—were damaged. In Snovsk itself, there were hits on transport and communal infrastructure.
Molniya UAV struck a village in the Koriukivka community. The library building was damaged. A house in Semenivka was damaged by barrel artillery fire. An FPV drone struck a communications facility on the border. Firefighters worked at the sites of the strikes,” Chaus added.
As reported by Ukrinform, Russians targeted a high-rise building, a power line, and a communications facility in the Chernihiv region over the past day.
