The situation in Ukraine's energy system remains difficult, but energy workers are working to reduce the scale of power outages.

Ukrainian Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk stated this at a press conference, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Hrynchuk noted that there is currently a deficit in the energy system. At the same time, she said that energy workers have repaired the equipment that could be quickly restored, and the volume of power outages has already been reduced.

"We are working to minimize the outage schedules. But the situation continues to be difficult. Practically every week we experience a massive combined attack," Hrynchuk said.

She emphasized that Ukraine has prepared response scenarios for various emergency situations in the energy sector.

"Right now, it is very difficult to make forecasts. We do not know what will be damaged next time or where the enemy's attack will be directed," she noted.

As reported, during the night of November 8, Russian forces carried out a massive attack on Ukraine's energy system. As a result, the Trypilska and Zmiivska thermal power plants were shut down. Substations critical to nuclear safety were also targeted
