Due to Russian attacks, new damage has been inflicted on energy infrastructure in several regions of Ukraine. Consumption limits are being applied in most regions until the end of the day.

According to Ukrinform, NPC Ukrenergo reported this on Facebook.

“Due to enemy shelling, there is new damage to energy facilities in certain regions. The aftermath of previous massive missile and drone attacks on the power system is still being dealt with. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore the operation of the damaged equipment as quickly as possible,” the statement reads.

Due to the consequences of the massive attacks, on 10 November, most regions are applying capacity restriction schedules for industrial consumers and hourly outage schedules ranging from two to four stages.

“Given the weather conditions and the consequences of Russian attacks, the need for careful electricity consumption will persist throughout the day. Please limit the use of high-power electrical appliances and shift energy-intensive processes to nighttime hours, when the load on the power system is at its lowest. Prudent consumption by every customer will help reduce the duration of forced outages for all,” Ukrenergo emphasized.

As reported, during the night of 8 November, Russia once again carried out a massive attack on the power system. As a result, the Trypilska and Zmiivska TPPs stopped. Substations critical for nuclear safety were also targeted.
