Energy facilities hit as Russians attack Odesa region with drones

Russian forces attacked energy infrastructure in Odesa region with drones during the night of November 7.

According to Ukrinform, Odesa Regional State Administration Head Oleh Kiper reported this on Telegram.

He said that the region came under yet another wave of enemy drone strikes overnight. Ukrainian air defense units shot down most of the aerial targets, but there were confirmed hits on energy facilities.

The attack also damaged warehouse premises and an administrative building. All fires were quickly extinguished by emergency services.

No casualties were reported, Kiper noted.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on the night of 4 November Russia attacked Odesa region in two waves, striking port and energy infrastructure.
