In memory of German combat medic Savita Wagner, who served in Ukraine's Defense Forces, volunteers from Germany have donated a mobile hospital to the Kherson region.

The Kherson Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"The Kherson region has received a mobile hospital from German volunteers. This vehicle was donated by international partners in memory of German combat medic Savita Wagner, who served in the Defense Forces and was killed while performing a combat mission in the east of the country," the statement said.

The medic's mother, Ulla Wagner, came to Ukraine together with the benefactors to hand over the mobile hospital, which will operate in the Kherson region to help save lives.

According to Yevhen Ihnatenko, deputy head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the mobile hospital will enable rapid medical assistance to be provided directly on-site.
