War update: 168 combat engagements on front lines, 36 Russian airstrikes recorded

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a situation update as of 22:00 on November 2, Ukrinform reports.

"Since the beginning of the day, there have been 168 combat engagements. Today, the occupiers carried out 36 airstrikes and dropped 63 guided bombs. In addition, the Russians deployed 3,759 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,822 strikes on our positions and populated areas," the report states.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Ukrainian forces repelled one enemy attack. Russian forces conducted six airstrikes, dropped 12 guided bombs, and carried out 165 artillery strikes, including nine from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Ukrainian troops stopped 12 attacks near Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, Tykhe, Odradne, and toward Kolodiazne and Dvorichanske. The settlement of Tsyrkuny suffered an airstrike.

In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 12 enemy attacks near Stepova Novoselivka, Borivska Andriivka, and toward Petropavlivka, Kurylivka, and Pishchane. Four clashes are ongoing.

In the Lyman sector, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions seven times near Hrekivka, Kolodiazi, Zarichne, and toward Korovii Yar. Some clashes are still ongoing.

In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled eight attacks near Serebrianka, Dronivka, Fedorivka, and toward Siversk.

In the Kramatorsk sector, two clashes recorded near Chasiv Yar and toward Stupochky.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian forces launched 16 attacks, focusing on Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, and Poltavka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian units attempted 62 attacks near Nykanorivka, Maiak, Myrnohrad, Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Razine, Mykolaivka, Novoekonomichne, Pokrovsk, Lysivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka, Horikhove, Dachne, and Filiia.

Today in this sector, Ukrainian forces neutralized 129 occupiers, including 95 killed. They also destroyed seven drones, four vehicles, two communication antennas and damaged an armored combat vehicle, two artillery systems, and a vehicle. A UAV control point and ten enemy infantry shelters were hit.

In the Oleksandrohrad sector, Russian forces launched 29 attacks near Zelenyi Hai, Sichneve, Novoselivka, Vorone, Sosnivka, Verbove, Oleksiivka, Rybne, Yehorivka, and Krasnohirsk. One battle continues.

In the Huliaipole sector, two clashes were recorded near Okhotnychne. Solodke and Zaliznychne were struck by air attacks.

In the Orikhiv sector, no offensive actions were recorded.

In the Dnipro River sector, Ukrainian forces repelled one enemy attack near the Antonivskyi Bridge. Russian aircraft struck Sadove.

In other sectors, the situation remained largely unchanged.
