Seven civilians injured in Russian strikes on Kherson region

Seven civilians were injured in the Kherson region on Sunday as a result of Russian shelling

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office said this in a Telegram post seen by Ukrinform.

"According to the investigation, on November 2, 2025, the occupying army once again shelled populated areas of the Kherson region, using artillery, including rocket artillery, as well as aircraft and drones," the statement said.

As of 17:30, seven people had been injured by Russian aggression, all in Kherson. Six civilians were wounded in artillery attacks, and another man was injured in an FPV drone strike.

Shelling damaged private and apartment buildings, a hospital, and vehicles across the Kherson region.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into war crimes.

On November 2, a 29-year-old Kherson resident was hospitalized with blast and closed head injuries, a concussion, and multiple shrapnel wounds following a Russian strike on the Dniprovskyi district at around 12:30. An 86-year-old woman wounded in the same area was hospitalized in moderate condition. At around 14:30, Russian forces shelled the Dniprovskyi district again, injuring a 69-year-old man who was also hospitalized.

At about 05:30, Russian troops shelled the Dniprovskyi district once more, injuring a 62-year-old man who sustained a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to the head.

Russian forces also attacked a civilian car with a drone in Kherson's Tsentralnyi district, wounding a 68-year-old man. Police officers took a 48-year-old resident to the hospital after he was hit by an enemy drone strike at around 08:30 in the city's Korabelnyi district.
