Entire Donetsk region without power due to Russian strikes on power grid

The entire Donetsk region is without power due to strikes on the power grid, and mass blackouts have begun.

According to Ukrinform, the Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, reported the news on Telegram.

“The entire Donetsk region is without power. Emergency blackouts have begun due to enemy strikes on infrastructure in the national power grid,” he said.

According to the Regional Military Administration, specialists are already working to eliminate the consequences of the accident.

“As soon as it is possible, the power supply in the region will be restored. We are working on it,” Filashkin added.

As reported by Ukrinform, more than 11,000 users in Zaporizhzhia remain without power as a result of a nighttime Russian attack.
