Russians strike Chernihiv region with missiles and drones

Russian forces carried out a series of attacks on settlements in the Chernihiv region.

Pavlo Miroshnychenko, head of the Koriukivka District Military Administration, reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"The aggressor struck the Mena district, reportedly with ballistic missiles. The enemy continues shelling the Koriukivka district. In the evening, two strikes were recorded on one of the agricultural enterprises of the Mena community, presumably using ballistic missiles," the report said.

Later, Oleksandr Seliverstov, head of the Novhorod-Siverskyi District Military Administration, reported that the Russians attacked the city of Novhorod-Siverskyi.

"Residential houses suffered varying degrees of damage. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties. The enemy attacked Novhorod-Siverskyi with two Geran-2 type drones. The strikes hit the residential area within the city," he said.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, in the Samar district of the Dnipropetrovsk region, a store caught fire as a result of enemy shelling. Eight people were injured, and one person was killed.
