Russian forces shell two districts of Dnipropetrovsk region, damage infrastructure

The Russian army launched strikes on the Nikopol and Pavlohrad districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region on October 26, causing damage to infrastructure.

Mykola Lukashuk, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, said this in a Facebook post seen by Ukrinform.

Ukraine's air defense forces shot down five enemy drones.

Russian troops attacked the Nikopol district throughout the night, using mainly drones and artillery to strike the communities of Nikopol, Marhanets, and Pokrovske.

In the Pavlohrad district, the enemy carried out drone strikes on the evening of October 26 and during the night, damaging infrastructure.

No casualties were reported, Lukashuk said.

The rest of the region spent the night without attacks.

On October 26, Russian forces struck the Dnipropetrovsk region with heavy artillery, glide bombs, and drones, damaging infrastructure, residential buildings, and a school in the Nikopol district.
