Civilian killed, five others injured in Donetsk region over past day

Russian forces killed one civilian and injured five others in Donetsk region on October 24.

Vadym Filashkin, Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“On October 24, the Russians killed one resident of Donetsk region in Raiske,” Filashkin wrote.

According to him, five more people were wounded in the region over the past day.

Since the beginning of the invasion, Russian invaders have killed at least 3,697 people in the region and injured at least 8,369 others. These figures do not include casualties in occupied Mariupol and Volnovakha.

Filashkin added that residential buildings, an agricultural enterprise, and infrastructure facilities had been damaged across Donetsk region due to Russian aggression over the past day. Numerous damages were recorded in Kramatorsk district.

Over the past day, Russian forces shelled settlements in Donetsk region 22 times.

A total of 509 people, including 186 children, were evacuated from frontline areas.

As reported earlier, on Friday, October 24, Russian forces attacked Kramatorsk with drones at least three times, damaging infrastructure.
