Russian troops shell Kherson's Korabelnyi district with artillery, eight people injured
The Kherson Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"Around 7:30 a.m., the occupiers shelled the Korabelnyi district. A 16-year-old teenager was caught in the attack. He sustained blast and mine injuries, a concussion, and shrapnel wounds to his torso and face," the statement said.
An emergency medical team took the boy to the hospital.
Five other Kherson residents were also injured and are receiving medical assistance. As a result of the shelling, several apartment buildings and private houses were damaged. Emergency response teams have already begun clearing the aftermath of the attack.
Later, the regional administration clarified that two more people were injured in the Russian shelling of the Korabelnyi district.
A 66-year-old man and a 61-year-old woman sustained blast and head injuries, as well as concussions. The man also suffered a shrapnel wound to his back.
They were taken to the hospital, and doctors assess their condition as moderate.
