Three civilians killed, four injured in Russian attacks on Kherson region in one day

In the Kherson region, Russian invaders killed three civilians and injured four others over the course of the day. 

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

“According to the investigation, on October 23, 2025, the enemy used artillery, including rocket systems, and various types of drones to shell the Kherson region,” the statement reads.

As of 5:30 p.m., three residents of the region have been reported killed and four injured.

In particular, a man and a woman were killed in Kherson as a result of artillery shelling, and another woman died in the village of Bilozerka.

Four civilians were also injured in the regional center: two as a result of Russian drone attacks and two more from artillery strikes.

In addition, private and apartment buildings, an educational institution, and vehicles were damaged by the shelling.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of war crimes.

As Ukrinform previously reported, a 55-year-old civilian was killed in Kherson as a result of artillery shelling, and a criminal investigation has been initiated.

During another enemy attack on the Dniprovskyi district around 11:00 a.m., a 60-year-old Kherson resident sustained a mine-blast injury. Police officers transported the man to the hospital.

Earlier in the morning, around 7:30 a.m. on October 23, Russian forces attacked Kherson with a drone, killing a woman whose identity is being established.

After 11:00 a.m., Russian occupiers dropped an explosive device from a drone onto a car in the Korabelnyi district, injuring a 39-year-old man.
