Enemies shell 18 settlements of Sumy region

From the morning of October 20 to the morning of October 21, Russian troops shelled 18 settlements of the Sumy region with various types of weapons.

This was reported in the Telegram of Sumy Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.

“During the day, from the morning of October 20 to the morning of October 21, 2025, Russian troops fired 38 attacks on 18 settlements in 8 territorial communities of the region”, the report says.

It is noted that the most shelling was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts.

The enemy carried out more than 20 guided aerial bomb strikes and 4 missile strikes. Russians also attacked the territory of the region with FPV drones.

A civil infrastructure facility was damaged by shelling in the Mykolaivka village community.

There are no wounded or dead civilians as a result of Russian attacks.

The Sumy Regional Military Administration added that 1 person was evacuated from border communities by local authorities together with units of the State Emergency Service, the National Police, and NGOs during the day.

As reported by Ukrinform, during the day, from the morning of October 19 to the morning of October 20, Russian troops struck 58 settlements in 11 territorial communities of the Sumy region.
