No Russian ships, submarines in Black, Azov Seas, but enemy aircraft remain active – Navy

Ukrainian Navy spokesperson Dmytro Pletenchuk reported this on television, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"The only factor currently influencing the operational situation at sea is temporary weather changes – the temperature has dropped, and the sea is slightly rough. However, this does not affect the ability of ships to go out, so it cannot be considered the reason for their absence. They are simply not at sea – just like the submarines," Pletenchuk said.

At the same time, Russian aircraft remain active.

"This issue is still on the agenda, and neutralizing it requires capabilities that the Navy does not yet possess. The Russians periodically conduct reconnaissance flights, sometimes even crossing over land, since situational awareness is equally important for them as it is for us," Pletenchuk added.

Commenting on a video showing the destruction of a Russian naval drone, Pletenchuk noted that Ukrainian forces have long been implementing measures to detect and neutralize such threats.
