Russian naval mine neutralized in Odesa region
The Ukrainian Navy reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
"Coordinated actions of the servicemen made it possible to promptly eliminate the dangerous object, which posed a threat to civilian navigation and coastal infrastructure," the Navy stated.
Specialists also recalled that there is still an active mine threat in the Black Sea.
The post also notes that recreation areas near the sea may be dangerous to the residents and visitors of the Odesa region.
The Navy advises that in case of detecting suspicious or explosive objects, one should by no means approach, touch, or attempt to move or neutralize them independently.
If such objects are found, it is necessary to report them to the authorities, the military added.
As Ukrinform reported, on September 23, 2025, the Ukrainian Navy stated that another naval mine drifting in the sea had been neutralized in the Odesa region.
